To-Do List
Bootstrap and Configuring Cookies
Now I know how to bake cookies and store them in a browser! I thought a to-do list would be a good exercise for storing cookies. Here you can add multiple lists; add, remove, edit, and check-off items within those lists; and after saving your changes, you can close the browser and re-open the page. The cookies will save your changes and reload your lists! They’re set to expire after a day, so keep that in mind.

Weather App
Bootstrap and Connect to an API
This nifty little app will determine your location, and then connects to the WeatherAPI.com API to provide you the weather for today, tomorrow, and the following 2 days. But it goes a step further and tells you how warmly you should dress depending on the weather! You will have to allow the webpage to find your location in order for this page to work.

Arts and Crafts Movement Infographic
Bootstrap & CSS Animations
While there is a little bit of Javascript/Jquery here in the quiz at the end, the primary focus for this infographc page was the CSS animations. I animated the icons next to each piece of info so they activate when the user hovers over them. I intended them to be a bit of fun and therefore optional. So even if a user is unable to hover over the icon, they can still get an idea of how the imagery matches the information.

Meal Planner
JavaScript & JQuery
I really hate trying to decide what to eat for dinner, so I created an app that would take the decision out of my hands. This meal planning app allows you to randomly generate a weeks worth of meals. You can go back and randomly generate a single day, and you can specify what to eat on the rare occasion that you do know what you’re eating. When you’re ready, you can generate a shopping list, and adjust the list by removing what you already have and add any other odds and ends you don’t want to forget.
